The Romans probably knew a thing or two about a crumbling empire. Ancient Roman Poet, Virgil, said “Whither art thou rushing to destruction?” Obama, Reid, & Pelosi are pushing congressman to rush into approving a potential stimulus package of $9.7 trillion dollars in which the recipients of nearly $8 trillion have not been identified. Does this seem like a good idea to anyone?
Obama, Reid, & Pelosi have miserably failed the United States, especially Obama and Pelosi as they've gone to the media to work the public into a frenzy of fear over what might happen if the bill's weren't passed. All three have shown an eagerness to get this deal passed without a serious discussion that peaks my curiousity. Obama's staunch inability to be bi-partisan and reminding Republican's that he won and it would be his way is poor conduct for a man who said America had "chosen hope over fear."
