Is there anything good about the 30’s? Apparently not…but that’s where we’re at.

I’ll start with the semi-better news. From a recent NBC/WSJ survey, only 33% of respondents felt that health care overhaul was a good idea. Is it really any surprise? I guess it really depends on what circle you run in, but with only 33% of respondents in favor then you better run in a very small circle to have this news surprise you.

On the heels of that news, Rasmussen released a report showing that only 30% of US voters felt this nation was headed in the right direction. Interestingly enough, 53% of Democrats felt the country was heading in the right direction while 42% said we’re on the wrong track. That’s not a good sign for Democrats. They’re losing touch.

But what do you expect when they keep pushing this health care ridiculousness like it’s the only thing American’s care about. In another NBC/WSJ poll, American’s identified their top 3 most pressing concerns. In order, they are:

1. Job creation and economic growth
2. National security and terrorism
3. The deficit and government spending

Notice, there’s nothing about health care listed.

We have almost 10% unemployment. We have a whopping 30,000 jobs saved after passing a $789 billion stimulus. We have over 100,000 troops in Afghanistan & Iraq. We have Islamic extremist terrorists trying to blow up themselves on our planes. We have world leaders like Chavez and Ahmadinejad spreading hatred against our nation. We have a President who apologizes for us. We have a yearly deficit three times higher than the previous record deficit. We have a falling dollar…

But we don’t have nationalized health care??????? Why the hell didn’t someone say something? Politicians, stop everything! This-Must-Be-Fixed!
